01
Initial Consult
At your initial consult, you’ll meet with your Provider to review your health history, family planning goals, and ask any questions that you may have. All initial visits include a pelvic ultrasound to understand your antral follicle count and uterine health.
02
Meet Your Patient
Navigator
After your first appointment, you’ll meet with your patient navigator. They’ll be your go-to resource for support, answering questions, and coordinating your care throughout the process. You can message them at any time through your Salve App.
03
Medication Training
You will learn how to administer your fertility medications with step-by-step video guidance. Our team will ensure you feel confident and supported before starting treatment.
04
Your Baseline
Appointment
You’re ready to start your cycle! You’ll come into the clinic for an ultrasound with our Sonographer to make sure your ovaries look primed and ready. Afterward, your Provider will call to review the results and if everything looks good, you will start your injections that night.
05
Monitoring Appointments
Over the next 10-14 days, you’ll return to the clinic a few times for ultrasound check-ins. With careful monitoring each step of the way, these visits ensure your treatment is progressing as expected.
06
Egg
Retrieval
When your provider determines your ovaries are ready, you’ll give yourself a ‘Trigger Shot’ to induce ovulation. 36 hours later, you will travel to your designated lab location, where a Board-Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility Specialist will perform your egg retrieval. Your team will be in touch to support you before and after.
07
Follow-Up
Call
After your retrieval, your Provider will call to check on your recovery and discuss the results of the retrieval.
08
Egg/Embryo
Storage
Your eggs or embryos will be securely stored on-site where you completed your retrieval. If you plan to move forward with a transfer, this will also be performed at the same lab location.
