IVF
IVF at our Astoria clinic is physician-overseen from start to finish. Your APP (Advanced Practice Provider), in collaboration with the medical director, a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist, manages your care through every monitoring appointment and teaches you how to prepare and administer injections so you feel confident from the first dose. A board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist performs your egg retrieval and embryo transfer at Spring Fertility’s nationally recognized Manhattan IVF laboratory near Bryant Park. Procedures take place under general anesthesia, and most patients return to normal activity the following day.
Egg Freezing
Egg freezing gives you the flexibility to plan your family on your own timeline. The process starts with a consultation to assess your ovarian reserve, followed by 10 to 14 days of hormone injections to stimulate egg production. Your provider monitors your progress closely with ultrasounds and bloodwork throughout. Once your eggs are ready, a board-certified Reproductive Endocrinologist retrieves them in an approximately 20-minute outpatient procedure at Spring Fertility’s nationally recognized Manhattan IVF laboratory near Bryant Park. Your eggs are then frozen using vitrification (a rapid freezing method that preserves egg quality with high survival rates after thawing) and stored until you decide to use them.
LGBTQ+ Family Planning
Open Fertility welcomes LGBTQ+ individuals and couples at our Astoria clinic. For same-sex female couples, reciprocal IVF allows one partner to provide the eggs while the other carries the pregnancy. For single parents and same-sex male couples, our team coordinates IVF with anonymous donor sperm from certified and screened sperm banks. For patients who need gestational carrier services, we provide referrals to trusted partner providers. Your care team provides guidance that is direct, inclusive, and built around your specific family-building goals.

Ava is a New York State-licensed and Nationally Certified Physician Associate (PA-C). Having earned her degree from the Pace University Lenox Hill Hospital PA Program, she has a strong foundation in evidence-based, patient-centered care. She began her career at Spring Fertility in New York City, where she gained extensive hands-on experience assisting with egg retrievals, embryo transfers, hysteroscopies, and endometrial biopsies while working as a medical assistant. Through rigorous clinical training and working closely with patients, Ava has developed a deep understanding of reproductive medicine and the patient experience.
She believes that exceptional fertility care begins by partnering with her patients. Ava is committed to prioritizing open communication and patient education so individuals and couples can navigate their treatment with confidence and peace of mind.

No, we do not accept insurance currently. Our self-pay model allows us to offer clear and upfront pricing while avoiding the inflated costs often associated with insurance coverage.

No referral is required. Initial consultations are typically scheduled promptly after contact. Your consultation includes a review of your medical history, a physical exam, a preliminary fertility assessment, and a full discussion of your treatment options, timeline, and costs. The consultation fee is $195. Bloodwork ordered at your consultation is processed by an outside lab and billed separately.
