Remote-Friendly Fertility Monitoring

Open Fertility is designed to make treatment easier to manage alongside work and daily life. Many parts of your treatment can be coordinated remotely, while required monitoring, testing, and procedures are completed in person.

Your care team will help you understand which steps can happen from home and when you’ll need to visit an Open or Spring Fertility location.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I communicate with my care team between visits?

Every patient receives access to the Salve App for secure messaging with your Patient Navigator. You can ask questions, coordinate scheduling and stay informed throughout treatment. Your Provider also calls you directly after milestones like egg retrieval to discuss results. This accessible, supportive communication is part of what makes Open Fertility’s affordable care model work.

What support do I receive while managing medications at home?

Open Fertility provides video guidance through MDR Med Coach to help you confidently administer your fertility medications. Your Patient Navigator is also available through the Salve App whenever you need reassurance or have questions. We prioritize empathy and respect, so you always feel understood and supported.

What makes Open Fertility more affordable?

Open costs less because the care model was intentionally designed differently for a more defined patient population. For eligible patients with relatively straightforward medical histories, Open uses a focused, team-based model that preserves the fertility expertise, physician involvement, and laboratory support that matter most while reducing unnecessary complexity and cost.

The lower price comes from the model — not from compromising the science behind treatment.

Can I complete my initial consultation remotely?

Your initial consultation requires an in-person visit to one of our clinics. During this appointment, your Provider reviews your health history and fertility goals, and performs a pelvic ultrasound to assess your antral follicle count and uterine health. This baseline information helps us create your personalized treatment plan. After your initial consultation, many parts of your care can be managed from home, reducing your overall costs and time away from work.

How many in-person visits should I expect?

The number of visits depends on your treatment. For egg freezing, most patients have 5-7 in-person appointments: an initial consultation, a baseline appointment, several monitoring visits over 10-14 days, and the egg retrieval at our partner lab. IVF patients typically add one more visit for embryo transfer. Our affordable approach means fewer unnecessary appointments and more value for your investment.
